Ewa Fornal graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, Poland, in 2007. She moved to Dublin in 2008 and has exhibited widely in group shows in Ireland and abroad, including at Sycamore Club, Filmbase, The Crow Gallery, Monster Truck Gallery, The Clyne Gallery, Jam Art Factory, the Festival of World Cultures in Dún Laoghaire, the Castlepalooza Music and Arts Festival, Waterford Arts Centre, The Ivy House. She was also selected for the International Annual Art Exhibition at Box Heart Gallery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ewa is also a poet and short fiction writer. She was featured in the Autumn 2018 issue of Crannóg Magazine and the anthology The ‘New Irish’ Writers by Dedalus Press. Her recent work appears in the literary journal Literature Today.
